Connections

Hyperscience provides flexible options for getting documents into Hyperscience for processing, receiving notifications during processing, and retrieving output after processing. This is done through the use of input and output connections.

Input connections allow an admin user to set up any number of connections to resources (e.g., an email inbox, a folder, a message queue) from which documents will be read in order to create submissions in Hyperscience.

Output connections allow an admin user to set up any number of connections to resources (e.g., a message queue, a web service endpoint, a UiPath Orchestrator Queue) where all status-change and output notifications will be sent.

The means by which you can configure connections depends on your version of Hyperscience, as described in the sections below.

Input Blocks and Output Blocks

If you are using Hyperscience v30 or later, you can configure connections through Input Blocks and Output Blocks.

You can work with your Hyperscience representative to add these blocks to your flows and configure them to connect to your data sources or downstream systems. For a list of currently available Input Blocks, see the "Input Blocks" articles for your version of Hyperscience. For a list of currently available Output Blocks, see the "Output Blocks" articles for your version of Hyperscience.

Connectors

Connectors are available to customers using Hyperscience v28 or earlier.

Connectors are software packages uploaded through the Hyperscience web application user interface. Connectors and their corresponding connections are set up in the Administration section of the Hyperscience web application under Connections.
