Layouts can be archived, which allows you to declutter the Layout Library by removing old or unused layouts from this view. Unlike deletion, archiving is a non-permanent action. Once an archived layout is restored from the archive, it can be used without restriction.
Note that archiving happens at the layout level. You cannot archive individual variations of a layout.
Before attempting to archive or restore layouts, it is important to understand which layouts cannot be archived and what you can and can’t do with archived layouts.
You cannot archive a layout that is a part of a release assigned to a flow, regardless of whether the flow is deployed or not.
Archived layouts are subject to the following restrictions:
A draft of an archived layout cannot be edited.
Versions of an archived layout cannot be downloaded.

You can archive a layout from the Layout Library or from that layout’s details page.

Click Actions, and then click Archive.

Click the menu next to the layout’s name ( ), and then click Archive.
View archived layouts
Go to Library > Layouts.
Click the menu next to the Actions button ( ), and then click Archive.
Restore an archived layout
Follow the steps in “View archived layouts” above.
Click the Restore Layout icon () for the layout you would like to restore.
Alternatively, click on the layout’s name, and click Restore Layout.
Restore a layout version
You can restore a layout version by following the steps below:
Go to Library > Layouts, and click on the name of the layout whose previous version you want to restore.
Click Version History, and find the version you would like to restore.
Click on the menu on the right side of its row in the table (), and click Restore.
When you restore a previous version of a layout, the current working version of the layout will be overwritten with contents of the restored version. If you want to save the changes you’ve made to the working version, be sure to commit your changes before restoring a version of the layout. If you need to access those changes later on, you can restore the version that contains those changes.
