Navigating the Interface

Each area of the application can be accessed by clicking on it in the left-hand sidebar or in the navigation bar across the top of the application. These options will be shown on all application screens, except for the Supervision and QA task views, the Layout Editor, Flow Studio, and the Release Editor.

Below is a list and summary of each part of the application, along with the types of users who would typically use that specific area.

Perform Tasks tab (Tasks > Perform Tasks, or click on the Hyperscience logo)

Provides keyer access to manual tasks awaiting completion.

Tasks Overview tab (Tasks > Overview)

Displays metrics on in-progress and recently completed work.

Task Queue 

(Tasks > Task Queue)

Lists outstanding work in the system and supports reordering and completion of specific tasks.

Submissions

Links to the Submission Table which lists all submissions in the system and their respective statuses. This page also contains links to individual Submission and Document Output pages with details of extracted fields.

Flows

Allows users to view a list of flows on the Flows page and the flows' configurations in Flow Studio. Users can also edit certain flow and block settings and import, export, and duplicate flows without Hyperscience's assistance.

Library

Allows users to specify which pages from which they want to extract information and what information to extract from those pages.

Reporting

Summarizes key metrics about the volume, automation, and accuracy of work done in the system.

Users

Allows admins to determine permissions/ authentication groups for specific users that limit or enable access to specific documents and Supervision tasks. 

System Admin 

Administration

Allows users to adjust various settings in the system, import and export settings from one version of the application to another, check system health, enable beta features, and see all jobs within the system and the trainer. 

Also displays the system version and environment configurations.

Notifications

If there are notifications of system events that the user can view, a red dot will appear next to the bell icon in the upper-right corner of the page, indicating how many notifications are available to read. Clicking on this icon reveals the notifications to the user.

Username 

The upper-right corner of the page displays the current user's first name. If the user has no first name on their account, then their username will be displayed. Clicking on this menu item will reveal a submenu displaying the current system version, a button to display the user's API token, and a link to log out the user.

All

Not all options in the menu bar will be visible to all users, due to permissions restrictions.

Some areas of the application contain multiple sections. These areas will have a tab for each of their sections.
