Reprocessing

Document Classification is used to categorize and combine pages that were not classified by the machine. Learn more in Document Classification.

The document-organization process allows users to recover mismatched documents by requesting reclassification from other Supervision tasks. At the end of submission processing, If there are any documents marked as “Layout incorrect,” the submission will be redirected back to the Manual Classification task instead of being given a “Complete” status. As a result, users can reclassify all pages of the submission.

Using Reprocessing

You can request the reprocessing of a mismatched document during each Supervision task. To learn more see Supervision Tasks.

  1. Click on Submissions in the left-hand sidebar of the application.

  2. Find the mismatched submission by its ID.

  3. Click on the Perform Tasks link in the Tasks column for the submission.

  4. Expand the document’s information in the right-hand sidebar of the Supervision task.

  5. Click Mark Layout Variation Incorrect.

Doing so removes the layout from all pages of the current document and creates a Manual Classification task.

  6. Click Continue on the warning message.

The status of the specific document is updated to “Reprocessing” and is sent to Manual Classification. If you have more than one document in a submission, all tasks for those documents have to be completed to see the updated status.

  7. Reclassify your documents.
If you’ve marked a layout variation as incorrect, on the Manual Classification task,  you’ll see the following message in the application:

When reprocessing, documents modified in Manual Classification are recreated as new and will go through the rest of submission processing.
