This page describes the Task Queue in v41.2. If you are using v41.0-v41.1, see Task Queue Tab (v41.0-v41.1).
The Task Queue displays all Supervision and machine tasks that are currently available for a given submission, based on your permissions and workflow.
This view helps you:
See which documents require Supervision work.
Identify how urgent each task is (based on SLA deadlines).
Filter submissions by flow, task type, processing type, SLA, and more.
Learn how to navigate the task queue in the sections below.

Halted or Overdue submissions
Submissions that halt or are overdue are highlighted in red. Learn more about halted submissions in Flow Runs Page. To learn more about SLAs, see our Prioritizing Submissions article.

Processing Type
The Processing Type column indicates whether the task is being processed manually or by the machine.
Pages
If the submission hasn’t been matched to a layout, the Pages column shows the total number of pages in the document.
Layout
Once a page is matched to a layout, the layout name appears in the Layout column for all related task types.
Fields
For Identification or Transcription Supervision tasks, the Fields column shows the total number of fields and table entries that require supervision. For example, if a task contains 4 fields and 3 table entries, the column will display 7.
SLA Deadline
The SLA Deadline column shows whether a task is overdue and how much time remains (or has passed) relative to the SLA.
If the task is overdue, you’ll see how long it has exceeded the deadline. If it’s not overdue, the column shows how much time is left before the SLA is breached.
The possible statuses are:
On time – More than 1 hour remains before the SLA deadline.
Close to deadline – Less than 1 hour remains.
Overdue – The SLA deadline has passed.
Adjust deadlines for tasks
You can manually change a task’s deadline at any time. The Actions drop-down list above the tasks table allows you to adjust deadlines for multiple tasks at once or to perform the tasks for these submissions.
To adjust a single task’s deadline:
Find the submission whose deadline you would like to change, and click its Adjust Processing Deadline icon (
).
Enter the time and date of your updated deadline, and click Save.
To adjust deadlines for multiple tasks:
Find the submissions whose deadline you would like to change, and select the checkboxes to the left of their names.
Click Actions, and then click Adjust Processing Deadline.
Enter the time and date of your updated deadline, and click Save.
We will apply the deadline to the submission as a whole, and all tasks for that submission will have the same deadline.
For more information about submission-processing deadlines, see Prioritizing Submissions.
